Backup .deb package synaptic

Well, I have some perfect answer for you, I just discovered some cool software to backup and restore your synaptic package easily, and this software is really ease to use and compatible with Ubuntu. I suggests you to use Ubuntu 7.04 or Ubuntu 7.10. Now, this is some howto to install the synaptic backup. The software is named APTonCD.
With APTonCD you be able to…
- Backup
- Backup all downloaded packages (via apt-get, aptitude and synaptic) to restore later.

Binary Packages
Binary packages, You can install APTonCD on a Ubuntu or Debian box.
Use the following file on any system (build in compatibility layer):

Source Code
You can download the source code to install on your debian or ubuntu box.
Download the source and use the following commands to install:
$ tar -xvzf aptoncd-*.tar.gz
$ cd aptoncd/
$ sudo make install

Instructions
APTonCD is on Ubuntu Feisty, Gutsy, Debian Unstable and Testing’s repository now! So just install the aptoncd package.
$ sudo apt-get install aptoncd
