So, my first impression is fast. Don’t care about the social networking either. EVERY out-of-the-box problem I had on karmic is fixed. Including that annoying flickering with flash. Wake from sleep is much quicker though not on par with osX and win7. Still takes about 3 secs on my machine. Goodbye, BROWN FROWN!!! New theme looks great, but needs more transparency. Only issue, I’m having is there is no boot screen on power up… So far, mad props to the Ubuntu team!!! Thanks!

Well what can I say, Once again ubuntu just hasn’t made enough steps to really be considered a good all round o/s, firefox still freezes on it, the new in built chat and mail is nothing more then just empathy chat and a shortcut to evolution, had trouble detecting my nvidia card and still no email notification unless you keep evolution open … poor
